Wirksworth Area Community Orchestra (WACO) was established in September 1983 and has remained active ever since. The orchestra is a group of just over 30 players who enjoy making music and currently rehearse in the Parish Rooms, St. Mary's Gate (next door to St. Mary's Church) Wirksworth, Derbyshire.

This evening’s concert entitled Musical Pictures features music by Mussorgsky, Gershwin, Puccini and Shore among others. All of the music is well known and will be instantly recognisable, easy-listening is the watchword here. Enjoy ...
