Whatever happens in the World Cup we still need to laugh and this comedy lineup guarantees it! In 1966 Ashbourne hosted the Germans, so to help us win again, the Festival is hosting the ambassador of German Comedy, Henning Wehn and hope he gets the joke. Henning will be familiar from the Channel 4 show FAQ U, as well as Radio 5 Live’s Fighting Talk.
Marc Lucero has comic instincts that would shame more successful acts. His sharp writing and aversion to the obvious give an original and funny act.
Headliner Hal Cruttenden has appeared in the Royal Variety Performance and all round the world. His writing credits include the BBC 1 Omid Djalili Show. His act epitomises the well-meaning but ineffectual Guardianista class.
